Our Story

Chabad of Westlake and Loxahatchee was established this year, to serve the Jewish community. Chabad of Westlake and Loxahatchee is a place where everyone is welcome, regardless of affiliation or prior level of knowledge. Its sole purpose is to create a warm, welcoming environment to explore and experience Judaism's warm and relevant spiritual inspirations in a non-judgmental and inviting atmosphere.

Our goal at Chabad of Westlake and Loxahatchee is to meet the needs of the community with religious services, and social events, as well as an array of programming.

Chabad of Westlake and Loxahatchee is a local, independent and financially self-supporting entity. Every dollar that we receive comes from the generosity of people like you. We are a 501(c)(3) organization and your donations are fully tax deductible.

Rabbi Zalmy and Shaina Muskal founded Chabad of Westlake and Loxahatchee in 2024.

Prior to moving to Westlake, Rabbi Zalmy grew up right nearby in Wellington before pursuing studies in Jewish thought and practice in both Isreal and NY, and received his rabbinical ordination in Boca Raton. His infectious optimism and joyful personality drives his commitment and dedication to his community.

Shaina was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and is a passionate educator, teaching classes for women, as well as educating her own children. She loves connecting each individual at their current life stage with what Torah and Judaism means to them in particular.
